Mother’s Day was on Friday of this past week. but my grandma told me that we celebrate it on Sunday. what I said in my blog post on Friday will be copied and pasted here. but I will be adding more meat to eat. I have got some good feed back. one thing I would like for everyone to do is to read this to your mothers who don’t own a computer or don’t have a social media profile. anything that I post I read to my grandma once it has been scheduled and published later on in the day. so again I highly suggest that you read this post and the other post if you haven’t had the chance too.
During holidays like today or any holiday its very hard for most of us who have lost our mothers. I was looking online to see if it could give me some answers on how to answer the question or to be able to talk to those who have lost a mother. I know several people who have lost a mother and I don’t know what its like. I don’t. but I know the feeling of losing someone close to you. while I was searching online for answers to that particular question all I could find was a link to a site that told me you could honor your mother in these ways. one of the ways I know of is visit your loved ones grave. We also need to understand is that our loved ones are not dead. but alive. like it says in John 3:16 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. there are many other verses in the Bible. here is another one its from John 11:25-26 it says 25 Jesus said to her, “I am the ressurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they day: 26 and whoever lives by believing in me never die. Do you believe this?” and here is one more good one to give some comfort in your heart. it is from John 14:1-4 1 “DO not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God or “Believe in God”; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place fro you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”
There are many more verses in the Bible that I could share. but I will share more and more as the days go by. one off the many things you could do to honor your mothers memory is by doing something good to help someone. do it in their name. so you can basically do the following to honor your mother in her memory. 1. visit your mothers grave and place flowers. 2. help someone in need. 3. go to church.
So again before I close this great message. I would like to take the time to wish all of the mothers out there and all across the world a Happy Mother’s Day! Mother’s are a blessing and deserve to be honored. So today on this special day for all of the mother’s out there I will be sharing three verse’s from the Bible.
“Let your father and mother be glad; let her who bore you rejoice.” Proverbs 23:22-25
“Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ‘Many woman have done excellently, but you surpass them all.” Proverbs 31:28-31
“Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.” Proverbs 31:25-28
I might as well add another verse from the Bible.
“When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom eh loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! Then saith he to the diciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.” John 19:26-27
Jesus’s unwavering love for his mother Mary set the standard for how children should honor our mothers.
You may not know this but one of the hardest things a mother could ever do was watch a Son give His life for our sins. if you don’t believe me well…..
it was not easy for Mary mother of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior watching her Son being crucified and being nailed to the cross.
May God Bless All of the Mother’s who do so much for their Families!
May God Bless Everyone and May God Bless Everyone and their Families!
