Ephesians 4:30-31

“And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, warth, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice”

Ephesians 4:30-31

The Lamb Takes the Scroll

5 And i saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. 2 then i saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to lose its seals?” 3 And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it.

Revelation 5: 2-3

And he showed me a pure river of water of life,

clear as crystal, proceeding from teh throne of God and of the Lamb….And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of god and of teh lamb shall be in it, and his servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face, and his name shall be on their foreheads. There shall be no night there: they need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.

Revelation 22:1, 3-5

When You Need Strength

13 is anyone among you suffering? let him pray. is anyone cheerful? let him sing psalms. 14 is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

James 5:13-15

A Time of Hope during a Crisis

I as a believer in Jesus Christ often times wish I knew were to start when it comes to sharing a caring message during a time of need or a crisis. As it seems that there are people in this world that need some sort of hope and shining light at the end of a very, very dark tunnel. There are people right now that feel they are alone and have no one that they can talk to. They feel that there is not a god out there that cares or that god himself does not care.

Well what I have to say here and now is that there is a god and he sure does care. He cares about each and every one of us here on earth. God created us in his image and made us perfect. You might feel alone right now in a hospital room, hotel room, work, school, college dorm, or stuck in quarantine. but don’t think that god doesn’t care about you. don’t think for one minute that god has abandoned you. because he hasn’t. god is with you all the way. Because it says in Psalms 68:5-6 King David Writes, “5 a father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy habitation. 6 God sets the solitary in families; he brings out those who are bound into prosperity; but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. It just goes to show that god loves each and every one of us and he has not abandoned us. during this time, I also studied and studied and thought over a bunch of stuff and come to a conclusion and this is what I came up with. Right now…right here and right now God is testing the whole world right now. This is a test of for all of us. all over the world everyone is on their hands and knees asking for the lord Jesus Christ to give the world one more chance. Everyone is starting to understand that god is in control.

The only two good things that I have found good that have come out of this crisis is that recently I heard that people are googling “What is Prayer?” “Who is Jesus Christ?” and sales for bibles have risen so much in the last few months. Since everyone is having to stay home and stay safe, they are having to work from home, kids can’t go to school due to school being closed so they are having to study from home. that then allows for families to spend more time together. With church being closed and people not allowed to gather at church as a congregation. Everyone is worshiping together as a family and those that not have found and accepted Jesus Christ as their lord and savior have done just that. They have found and accepted Jesus as their lord and savior. That is just about the only two good things that have come out of this crisis.

Now I would like for everyone to know that Jesus Loves you and me. He gave his life for you and I. he has not abandoned you. he was always there with you from the time that you were born and always will be there with you when you gave accepted him into your heart. After reading this I hope you have taken the time to think about it. I as a Christian will not force you to believe in Jesus.

Take some time to think about it when you get a chance request a bible from someone or borrow one and read it from front to back, cover to cover. It has a lot of story’s in there and a lot of great people in there but the main character in the bible is God and Jesus Christ himself.

I as a believer in him have respect for you and love you very much and I hope that this touches your heart. Please SHARE this on all Social Media Platforms. Thank You!

May God Bless You and May God Bless You and your Family!

What is a Cowboy Church?

You may be asking yourselves What is a Cowboy Church? Well its Basically Local Christian Churches within the Cowboy Like culture and are distinctively a western heritage in charactor. a typical cowboy church may meet in a farming community or a barn, steel building, arena or a rodeo arena, etc. they would typically have its own rodeo arena with stands and a carral. when someone turns their life to god they will have a baptisms in what they call a Stock Tank.
Sometime’s Cowboy churches will have annual events like Horse Back Riding, Bull Riding, team roping, ranch sorting, team penning and much more.

Well now im sure you are asking yoursleves Travis why are you talking about Cowboy Churches all of a sudden? Well im glaaaad you asked because there is one here in Balch Springs, Texas that me and my family go to in which at the end of this blog i will leave the address so on next sunday i will leave you also with the time the services begin.

It began around 2009 or 2010 when my uncle told us about some pastor wanting to start a cowboy church here in balch springs well the church it self actually started in 2008 but it wasnt until ’09 or 2010 when me and my granmother found out about it. so we decided to go one sunday at 8;30 am in the morning and went to the church. well when we drove up to it. the church itself started church services in a(n) old feed store. so it was somewhat cramped but it could seat a LOT OF PEOPLE. anyways when we got there we got out and walked up to the front door and walked on in. when we did walk in we could smell FRESH BREWED campfire coffee which smelt soooo gooood and they also had fresh donuts too. the people there were VERY FRIENDLY. the enviroment itself felt very welcoming and i liked it very much. better than the church i went to before which was a episcable church or however you spell it. any ways the music was enticing and very gospal and it just felt like being home. then the preacher whos name was Pastor Mike Mckinney who is now Retired was a very nice preacher and preached Gods Word very good. they were also having to raise money to meet the goal of building a new building. we had the Ground Breaking Ceramony for the new building on October 27, 2013. as time went on we still were slowly reaching a goal of raising enough money to build the new building and when 2015 came around it was finally built.

All i have to say is that the church is now built and services are held every sunday morning at 10:30 am and that you have to get there VERY EARLY to be able to find a seat.

The Dallas County Cowboy Church is located at 4627 Pioneer Rd. Balch Springs, TX 75180

They also have a Facebook Page. just search in the search bar in Facebook “Dallas County Cowboy Church” you can go to to keep up with current events going on at the church and join the church family. See you there!

Thanks again for taking a chance at reading another great blog. this blog is to tell you all about a local Cowboy Church that i got too every sunday and i hope you all stop by.

thank you again and God Bless You All!

Today’s Actual First Bible Verse of the day!

This is The Actual Bible Verse of The day. Thank You for your Understanding.

Todays 1st bible verse of the day on this blog is from the book of Proverbs

Proverbs 1:3-6 to acquire the discipline of wise behavior righteousness and justice and fairness, to give insight to gullible people, to give knowledge and forsight to the young. a wise person will listen and continue to learn, and an understanding person will gain direction. to understand a proverb and a clever saying, the words of wise people and their riddles.

Proverbs 1:8-9 My Son, listen to your father’s decipline, and do not neglect your mother’s teachings, because discipline and teachings are a graceful garland on your head and a golden chain around your neck.

Come back next time for another Verse for the day. May God Bless you and Your Family!
